Location is good, fast food and restaurants near by. Room furnishings are standard. My room smelled of cigarette smoke despite the no smoking policy and the closet was especially musty. ther bed was comfortable and so was the air conditioner. Sunday morning breakfast was good, a nice surprise.

Staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable. Free breakfast. A/C unit was very loud. Parking lot is small. The restrooms needs updating. There was a weird smell in the 3rd floor hallway thou. Overall it was a good stay.
Very nice hotel. Rooms are larger than most, with large bath. Average breakfast, kept refreshed during hours. Coffee available 24.
I just wanted to express my displeasure with La Quinta Beaumont West. I had a standing reservation made 3 weeks in advance, and received a call the morning of my stay telling me the hotel was over booked and I would not receive a room. I was already in the area and now had to scramble to find other accommodations. I am an elite rewards member and stay at this particular location over 20 nights a year (and at La Quinta's across Texas 40+ nights a year). To have my room canceled the morning of my stay without any sort of advance notice is unacceptable. I will NOT be staying at this location any longer, and am truly considering another hotel chain for my 40+ hotel stays each year.
The hosts were kind and courteous. The beds are nice and plush, and the rooms were really clean. It was close to the movie theater and there are a couple restaurants within walking distance.
