Since then I have found numerous people who also got MRSA staph there due to poor sanitation conditions.
I am extremely happy that I choose this hospital, the nurses are so kind and professional.I would definitely recommend Christus hospital
And I know of several folks who died from staph infections there. I will never set foot in St. Elizabeth under any circumstance.
There is a good reason for all the one star ratings
And I won't even go into the poor treatment by the nursing staff!
The nurses at the orthopaedic station must be overworked because they are extremely rude and hurry you up to get off the phone!! When I have a loved one in the hospital, I expect compassionate nurses, not grouchy, testy ones. Something must be extremely WRONG with a hospital when the nurses know as little as these do. She mumbled something and hung up on me. I am in San Antonio (5 to 6 hours away). I spoke to my daughter-in-law and found out what the stupid nurse was mumbling. My son's password so I could get information about his condition. Horrible place.
Staph city. I picked up a mrsa staph infection at Beaumont St. Elizabeth in 2006.
I was flown to the ER here after a serious car accident. All the staff I had contact with were helpful and pleasant, I have no complaints about the care I received. I was discharged abruptly with no time to make travel arrangements though, would have been nice to have a little advanced notice.
Highly recommend Christus. I have been to everything there from the ER, mammogram, to having my regularly Scheduled doctors there. Just today they were able to do tests that most facilities around Beaumont are not able to do. They have everything there. This is the hospital that people get transferred to because it so advanced. I ended up in major surgery the same day for my issue. If you have a serious medical issue this is absolutely the place to go.Everyone was so kind and caring. Highly recommend
