To me, Target has a solid place in the market with their stylish, somewhat upscale products, with out the prices getting too out of line.
Update: We dropped in to Target on Thanksgiving to check out the Black Friday specials. After fighting our way down the aisles for 20 minutes we didn't find anything that had the value and utility that we needed at this moment. So we moved on down the road.
A little pricey at times, but store is clean & has great selections on various designer brand & non designer brand items for your home, closet, kids, gifts, seasonal, groceries, personal , educational, entertainment @ travel! Store presentation is clean & beautiful.
This Target is the worst one I've ever visited. Every time I go in it's like a bomb went off and no one cares to clean it up. I understand the people that work there are having to deal with the trashy Beaumont public but wow I don't think I've ever seen such a mess of a store! I started to only go if they had something I needed but now I'd rather just order it all online since they never seem to have anything in stock, (or probably just can't find things buried under all the riffraff). I bet their yearly inventory is hell in and hand basket!
Doesn't have the same full grocery as a Super Target, but the groceries are nevertheless fresh and you can find most of what you need. On the plus side, the store is very well organized and the housewares section is more expansive than HEB. If you have the Cartwheel app and the Target Red Card, the prices are usually better than HEB as well (except for soda, cereal, and wine, for some reason). A great all-around shopping stop.
This store is always clean. The service, at checkout and the pharmacy, is always good. I'm happy to shop here again.
