Love the staff here. Always helpful. I've been bringing my two dogs here for almost 2 years now. It has always been a positive experience.
While purchasing a balpython hatchling my wife noticed a dead hatchling (snake) we told the employee about it and when he opened the case there was actually two dead snakes. He jokingly said " damn, I'm supposed to insenerate these..but damn lol, I'll just throw them in the trash." It wasn't vulger but it was kinda a shock to be paying for a 100$ snake in a case with dead snakes... I bought it anyway because I felt bad for it. It was very under weight. ( I've raised them before) .. but after several months he/she is fat and happy .that's really the only complaint I have.. I think they try to do their best but really don't have much knowledge about any of the animals they have so do your own research before you buy animals from a Petco. Other than that it's clean inside, and they try to help best they can
I was going in yesterday for some cat food. I wasn't for sure where it was at so someone who worked their helped me and the staff their was great! Also, they have pretty reasonable prices. All the animals and their habitats are in very good shape. All the animals are fed and have clean water. Most pet stores I have been to their birds are pulling out their feathers and not eating or drinking at all. Here, they birds are playing,eating,and drinking and look pretty happy. Well they have the occasional "floaters" and "sinkers" but they take care of that if you know what I mean
