The staff at Alvin H Prause MD are amazing. They are welcoming and never make you wait. This is a practice I continue to recommend.
He came to check on my newborn in the hospital. I was half sleep and didn't know who he was when he walked in. He didn't even introduce himself or what he'd be doing. I had to ask him who he was because as far as a know, he could have be an abuctor . He was in and out and didn't tell me as the mother too much of anything. Horrible and inconsiderate. :-(
They are fantastic I love going to see Dr. Prause and they are always able to fit in an appointment with me!
Absolute idiot. Took in my son to see him because I was 99% sure that he had thrush and an ear infection. Dr. Prause took about 30 seconds to look my son over and said he just had a red throat and prescribed him amoxicillin . I was so taken aback by his lack of care and this being out first visit to him since moving to Beaumont that I didn't even bother to tell him that I did not agree with him. Instead I took him to another Doctor immediately after and found out that my son did in fact have thrush as well as a double ear infection. I also found out that if I had given my son amoxicillin that it would make his thrush worse. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS DOCTOR! Giving him 1 star is even generous in this case.
I've been going here for quite a while! About 5-6 years so I know them well. I've never had a problem with scheduling my appointments, we usually just schedule the appointment right as I'm leaving the office.
