I would like to give a higher rating, but I simply cannot. I agree with the reviews regarding the front end employees in the service department, they are indeed very friendly and helpful. However, at the end of the day it is the service rendered on your vehicle, and the QUALITY of work paid for that matters. I have had 3 separate occasions where I left very dissatisfied with the quality of work the mechanics provided. The last time was in November of 2016. All I needed was a new battery, so I purchased one and the mechanic couldn't even put it in with out damaging it. Adding to my angst, they stated they could not replace it until the following week, even though they admitted their mechanic was at fault. Therefore, I had to drive to Lafayette and back hoping the battery wasn't going to leak. I simply do not trust the mechanics at Mike Smith NISSAN enough to bring my car back to them.
Amazing staff! Kim went over and beyond to help us! They are kind and do not mess around. They tell you exactly what is happening and make sure your comfortable if you're waiting. And if the people who work on your car are very professional. They even make sure you understand what is happening! I will never go to another dealership ever again!
I bought my 2017 Nissan Rogue in June of this year and I love it. I had great people who helped me to be able to buy my car. I just recently went and got my first free oil change at 5000 miles and tires rotated using my reward points. Kelsey, my auto service representative helped so much by keeping me informed on my vehicle. She's a very sweet and polite person who cares and goes beyond to service her customers!! Check out this place.... Great people!!!
I foolishly gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back only to have THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPEN AGAIN. They have lost a loyal Nissan customer. They are tarnishing the Nissan name.
Service department needs servicing. Had an appointment at 1 for an oil change, arrived a little early checked in and got them the keys. I was told thirty minutes later they were behind and it would be a while. I could reschedule or I could wait. I chose to wait because my oil needed changing. It was over 2 hours before I got word my car was being worked on. Another 30 minutes and they bring me a report saying my battery was bad and my air filter needed changing. Both are brand new. The battery is even from another Nissan dealership. I went to pay and they charged me extra, for what? They weren't sure. They lowered the price back to the stated price and I was on my way.
Tony at Mike Smith Nissan delivered nothing but excellent service. I told him from the beginning that I was going to be a challenge to please but he blew me away with his exceptional performance. I can't thank him enough for getting me the car I wanted for the price I wanted.
