I love my Tuesday date night with husband, dinner with co workers or ladies night out together. Margaritas are the best. Very generous with chips sns salsa. Portion size and Price is awesome.
Elena"s is in my Top Five of Mexican around the Golden Triangle. Local family serving local food, with good service at a good price. We frequent the Phelan location more due to convenience, but a trip to the College St. location is always a treat. Great week-night specials!! Try the house Margarita topped off with a Tecate.
The food was great but the wait was long and often. We waited to be sat for about 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us but we got our drink order pretty quick. We waited about 10 minutes before the waitress came and took our food order then we waited another 5-7 minutes for our to go boxes.
The service was phenomenal as well as the food I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!
