The airport terminal is fine. However, it is so small that one can never expect your flight to leave on time, or at all. The weather seems to overwhelm the capacity of the airline to get flights up on time. It rains and flights are delayed hours. It is foggy at night, they return you to Dallas to spend a night on the floor. I mean, seriously, is Harrison Ford flying out of Brooks? Is this why no one can get a flight off on time? My advice, drive to Houston and avoid this train wreck.
The worst airport experience of my life. Not sure if it's racial profiling or faulty machines.. irregardless, this place is a joke, and not the kind you can look back and laugh at.
I've no problem with the place, the services offered however leave something to be desired. American Airlines with a transfer delay in Dallas, or take a bus to Houston on United. The best use is driving a rental car to Houston to get there quicker by yourself.
With a convenient location in Mid County and free parking, Jack Brooks airport is a convenient way to catch a flight. The terminal building is comfortable and roomy.
